Coyote Finished

Coyotee.

25 x 22 cm on Canson 220 gsm paper.

Managed to get the Coyotee finished today. The Coyote was a nice change from the birds and wild animals we have here in Australia.
So what's next...  Digging deep into my ref photos, I am sure I will find something to enjoy drawng.

Beautiful job Dors. You have captured the softness of his fur. I feel I could reach out and stroke his fur. His eyes are perfect.

Vic, Pat and Joan. Thank you so much for your kind words.
He was a thrill to draw.. Glad I captured him good.
That's the first Coyote I have drawn nut definitely not the last.

Very nice work Dors, you really captured the softness of the fur. He really seems to have a sly look about him.

What a smug little look he has on his face Dors. Looks like he just finally caught the Road-Runner!!! Fantastic work as always :))

Coyote! Now why did I call this a fox last time? Sheesh. He is a beauty though, Dors. We do have lots of coyotes in these parts too. It always makes me sad to see them having to work so hard for food. Another gorgeous piece by Doreen!

Thank you Sherry. I would be so sad too if I say your Coyotes working so hard for food.
Hope your well Sherry. have a great day.

You nailed him, Dors! They do look sort of fox-like, don't they? You've done a great job on him - the fur is super.

Thanks so so much Jan. I'm glad you think I got him right,

Youve done that fast Dors! Beautiful portrait, I love it, you should definitely do more, even the nose looks wet. I think you would do a great job on a bear...

Unknown said...

Thanks Sam...OK a bear will be drawn. my next project is a lioness then I will do a bear. I have never drawn a bear before so will be interesting.

Beautifully done Dors! The texture of the fur is incredible and that sly expression makes me wonder what he's thinking.

Thank you Jeanne and Sue. It's all in the eyes when we draw isn't it?
