Update #2 on Orang-utan

Arches smooth surface.  approx 22 " x 30"  It is a full sheet.

A little more done. Seeing it posted always seems to show little thing that need to be changed. The left eye looking at it needs to be adjusted a touch wider. There is a huge amount of hair on this Orang-utan which means lots of work. Should keep me quiet for a while. LOL.

Beautiful work so far Dors ... you make me want to get my graphite pencils out - sometimes its nice to get away from colour and concentrate on the drawing isn't it?

Thank you Hilda. Not always patient LOL... Sometimes I think I like to punish myself. hehehe. One day it will trip me up. I do like a challenge.

Thank you Sue. I keep trying with the Cp's but graphite is my medium. I won't give up on CP I want to master it. and may even go back to watercolor for a change. I will always go back to graphite though.

I think you are so brave to tackle anything with so much fur but I know it will end up being beautiful!

I was just about to say you have the patience of a saint Dors and then I see that other bloggers commented on your patience too, so it must be true. I look at your graphite portraits and only wish mine could be as good. I just did a couple of commissioned graphite portraits, but compared to CP work, I find graphite really challenging! Kudos to you!!! :)
