Another update. The eyes were a little too sad. Hope this has given Sheraz a look that fits her personality better. It is a little hard when photos are not very detailed, also working from a few images.
The changes you've made enhance the cat greatly, Dors.
oh isn't it the biggest bane having good photos to work from? I always tell people take the pics of your pet at their eye level.. gives me a fighting chance of getting a good expression! xx
Yeah you are so right Pat. I do try my best but when ref photos are are not good. Grrrrrr it makes it so hard. My client is so nice. I do hope I have it right now.

You've captured the essence of cat with this one. The anatomy seems spot-on. It must be even more difficult to work with less than good photos when the cat is black!
You did a good job Dors. Working with a black cat and poor pictures is always a challenge but you have come through. I do like the change you made in the paw as well. It does make a lot more sense.
wonderfull done Doreen. We have aneighbor across the river that loves black cats and have tried several times to have one but owls, foxes or bobcats have made short order of them. I have had bobcat tracks left in the snow on my front deck several times after fresh snowfall the last several weeks.
