Kangaroo... on Canson 220 gsm.

Here we are with TAKE TWO of the Kangaroo.    This time I have done it on Canson 220 gsm paper. I am much happier with it now.  Also it is a whiter paper and gives a much better contrast.
I got a good few hours in yesterday in the art room which was so relaxing.
I still have more work to do on this...  more layers of fur.  I should get this finished today.

Hi Dors,

I love the softness of the kangaroos eyes. Can't wait to see the finished product. What kind of pencils do you use?

Hi Sue. Thank you for your kind comment.
The pencils I use are Staedtler Mars Lumagraph. For the Kangaroo I used 2H, 6H, 2B and 3B
If I use a clutch pencil at all I also use Staedtler leads.

Hi Dors,
Your picture is coming along well. I like white paper as well, it gives a good contrast. I like to use 2ply rising museum board. It is very thick and takes a lot of punishment.
