Your work just amazes me. I feel like I could reach out and touch that soft fur. And those sweet, shiny eyes...just perfect. What a beautiful face!

Just beautiful Dors, those eyes are so friendly and I agree with Karen!

Thank you so much Gwen and Sam.

It's like becoming friends with the animals as I draw..LOL Creating a personality... if you know what I mean.

Lovely finish, Doreen! I know what you mean about becoming friends with the animal - I compare it to stroking one!

Thank you Sue. It's good to be back drawing again. Thanks for you lovely comment. :)

Thank you Jan. Yes it is a bit like stroking one. drawing can make you feel very attached. :)

Thank you Lene. They must all look sweet...I have never studied the Kangaroo that close. I do remember in the mid 60's holding hands with one at the Healsville Santuary in Melbourne. It felt very special at the time.

That is beautiful! You have captured the texture of the fur brilliantly - it looks so dense and fluffy.
I also love the soft intensity of the eyes.
Its such a brilliant and cute piece :)

Dors, he does look wonderful. You are one determined artist by undertaking the same drawing twice! Have you ever tried Fabriano Artistico hot press 140lb paper? More expensive but I just love it with graphite!!

be great as a print!

Hi Colette. I have tried Frabriano but I don't think I have tried the one you suggest. I will get some and try it out. Thank you so much. I always appreciate you suggestions and comments. :D

Thank you Suzanna for your kind comments. I am thinking about yours and Karen's suggestion. I have searched out an Australian company that prints artwork.
