Feeding time close to our home.

The Roos feeding time at sunset. This was taken just around the corner from where we Live. They cross the main road through the estate so we have to be careful driving, especially at dawn and
dusk. We are hoping that the council will put up signs so that people driving through will be aware that we have such beautiful wildlife here. The Roos are are not tame, they are quite cautious of us humans. Aren't they gorgeous ?

Thats fantastic Dors, so I have cows on my doorstep and you have Kangaroos!

Hey Sam. It's good to have the wildlife... But one thing we can't get a close shot of the Roos like you did. One up for you.

Lots of inspiration Vic. Not close enough shots of these roos. They are so timid. Nev is looking at getting a lens for the camera to get close ups.

Beautiful Dors ... they may not be close enough shots for you to do your usual very detailed drawing, but they'd make a wonderful backdrop if you used a 'library' picture of a main roo and used your own as the 'family'

Like Sam says ... we have cows and sheep !! although we do also have llamas close by and I understand they help to protect lambs from fox attacks ..

Even if they aren't super close photos, these are still amazing! We have coyotes, foxes and wild turkeys and it's really hard to get decent photos of them.

What do roos eat? Vegetation I assume.
