Bailey (Take Two) #1

8 x 10" on Arches 300gsm paper.
You may be thinking Hey what is Doreen up to here. Well I had Bailey almost finished. Cleaning up the outside of the drawing frame as I always do with my much looked after Knead able eraser. When a mark appeared right across the top which was unmovable . Oh I could have cried. I just stood with this horrified look on my face. Well I thought this is not the end of the world. I will just start over.
A glass or two of Chardy went down very well at this point. hehehe.
Today is a new day and here is the new drawing..(Sorry it's not a good image, bad time of the day where the lighting is poor. It's also a wet dull day).  I will try to do more progress shots this time.

Gee That must have been frustrating. I am sure Baily will be fabulous. Maybe the Chardy is the cause of the blurred image!!LOL

Bad time of day? Poor lighting? Maybe it was the chardonnay! LOLOL I think it is fabulous and the look in Bailey's eyes...sigh...I just want to pet him! He is so soft! I know the frustrations of having to start over though!

Thank you Sally and Sherry. I promise to have a clearer image posted by Wednesday. Chardy makes very fuzzy images. LOL I will be out to lunch tomorrow with family.

BTW the Chardy was good.

Oh, I know how horrid that is! Yes, two glasses of wine were definitely needed! I know this one will turn out as well as the other!

Gosh, that is disheartening to learn Doreen. Sorry it had to happen. I'm sure it will turn out just as fabulous!

Oh dear... that would be disappointing. But I think I like the expression in his eyes on the new one even better than the original! (if that's any consolation?!)

In the last few days i've had three people tell me 'there's always a good reason for everything' (which can be quite irritating) ..... but here's my opportunity to pass on those 'words of wisdom' :-)

There's always a reason for everything and this one is sure to turn out better than the first one and be more enjoyable to work on!!

Have a great day off

Oh NOOOOO, Dors, I do know your frustrations!! Been there done that more than I care to remember! However, the second go round usually doesn't take as long and turns out just as good if not better! Hang in there, Bailey looks great and the Chardonnay can't hurt! : )

Thank you for your support. I have just about finished the new drawing and you are right.... it was much quicker.
It's all practice LOL

I hate when that happens! But sometimes...the "fixed" result turns out better than the original? Maybe? I hope.

Thank you Deb. Well if that happens it all worth it and a big bonus.
