I'm Back

Well after a very busy week I am back and so ready to get those pencils back in my hands.
It's taken a few days to get broadband connected to the new home.
We are all unpacked and most things have a home. I love our new home and have it shipshape inside.  Just the garden to get sorted now which will take time.  The driveway is done so we can get the car into the garage now.  All boxed empty   YAY!!!
I spent the morning today at the hospital after having pain in my left arm and pins and needles in the fingers.  Grrrrrrrrrrr    painful.  I felt ok other than than the pain and discomfort but having called the Dr's to get it checked...They told me to get to the hospital ASAP as it could be a heart attack being in the left arm.  So much for the emergency, I spent most of the morning sitting in the waiting room of the emergency dept.   They were very good once I got to see a Dr..  checked me out.  ECG, Blood pressure check twice and exray of the neck.  turns out it was overuse of the arm. ie carpel tunnel or pinched nerve or just plain overuse.  It was a big job packing at the unit,  cleaning inside and out and cleaning the new home ( builders dust) etc.  then unpacking.   So glad it is all over.

Now i can look forward to getting the pencils back in my hands and being creative again.
I have missed you all so much.  Hope you have been creating.  I think I have a lot to catch up on with all your work.  I look forward to seeing what you have all been doing the last week.

Big Hugs to you all.

Dors.

Welcome back Dors! Glad you are well and that your scare was not a heart attack. Looking forward to seeing your art again. Can't believe you are ready to blog so soon after moving. No wonder your arm protested!!

So glad to have you back Dors and wonderful to hear you have settled in your new home. As an ex-nurse, it is very disappointing to hear you sat in the ED for so long with the symptoms you had - you should have been a high priority. You really have to wonder about out health system sometime!!! So good to know you are OK thought!!! :)
