I know I already commented on your last post, but just have to tell you again how great this is! That small pop of red makes this already perfect drawing even more special. Oh, those eyes!
Love your Quokka Dors .... I'd never heard of this creature so have just Googled it and learned something new! I'd assumed it would be mouse sized but apparently it is the size of a domestic cat?
Anyway, as usual this is beautifully drawn and the eyes are truly amazing
Dors, this is stunning. That pop of color in the piece of fruit just totally caps a beautiful painting! It is hard for me to not keep repeating Qokka Qokka Qokka over and over to myself. This piece is museum worthy, really.
What a sweet piece Dors! Have you ever gone to Barbara Freeman's blog? She does some amazing work in silverpoint, and she too puts just a dab of color here and there. I think you'd like her work.
Hi Dors, I popped a long from art and soul to have a look at your blog. I am really enjoying looking through your work, it is fascinating. Great rendition of this one, it is lovely :D
