Time to get the pencils back in hand. I have had a little break from drawing.... Got into some packing ready for the big move into our new home. It's getting close now and with only 5 weeks to go. 3 for the house to be finished and the builders all gone. Then it's the fun time, main area tiles and carpet to be laid. Light fitting to be installed, blinds for all the windows.
We have made a good start on the packing so that it will make it easy and no stress. Plus a big bonus LOL all ornaments are packed... WoooHooo not much to dust now.
Here is an update of where the house is at. Tiles being laid at the moment and then it will time for the painters.

Gosh, Dors. I am so excited for you. We need a house. Mobile home living is just not what I thought it would be (like an extended camping vacation or something). Beautiful!
I know what you mean Sherry. My sister did it and sold the mobile home after 6 months and is now happy in a retirement village. she and her hubby are very happy now. I have lived in a retirement village but was in my early 50's and living alone.
Sometimes it's hard to know what is best. Now having met Nev and we have built again. Life is good.
I hope you find that place you can call home .
Hugs
Dors. xx
How exciting for you, Dors, not long now! It's looking all fresh, modern and sleek - bet you can't wait to get in there now. You sound very organized - it'll be great once the builders have gone and it's all systems go! I wish you all the very best for the move, keep us posted ;)
How exciting for you. Enjoy and all the best to you.
That is going to be a stunning kitchen Dors. I am so envious. You must be so excited to be so close to moving in.
I'll bet you can't wait. Looks like a winning deal.
Thanks again for commenting and following my art blog Doreen.
Am off to Yellowstone today. Beechler River this time. Maybe another stream painting?
Ooh... how exciting! Can't wait to see the pics of the house after you've moved in and made it your own.
Things seem to be really moving along now. The cabinets look beautiful and I like the layout of the kitchen.
Thank you all for your lovely comments.
Getting excited here now.
Five weeks will just fly by I'm sure Dors. Then you can really look forward to making it 'home'
Have you packed your pencils or will you still be drawing/posting?
Thanks Sue. My pencils will be the last thing I pack. I will start another drawing tomorrow. Just deciding what to draw here.
5 weeks seems so far away..but you are right it will fly by...especially if I lose myself in the art room. :D
