I have roughed in the start of this piece. so much work to do on the long hair and the face. I think the eye is completed. A lot more challenging..LOL I love a challenge. Another quite large work. I am loving these giant lovable wild animals. This is mainly a head and shoulders and comes courtessy of the WetCanvas reference library.

Hey dors i love the real rough textured look you did great. Oh I looked at the wetcanvas site but I had some trouble finding anything.

Oh, my! The male lions are so majestic and are my favorites of the big cats. This one gives me chill bumps even at this stage!
He's looking very handsome already. What a magnificent animal.
